| Dr Stephen Madelin Partner
Dr Madelin MB BCh MRCGP qualified in Cardiff in 1977. He completed vocational training for general practice in Bridgend and joined the practice when it was Oldcastle Surgery in South Street in 1982. His main interests in medicine are minor surgery and dermatology. He is also the practice lead on cosmetic enhancement. His other areas of non-clinical responsibility in the practice are prescribing and development of the computer system and its use.

| Dr Ian Harris Partner
Dr Ian Harris MB BCh (1996 Wales) MRCGP (2002) trained in UWCM Cardiff and qualified as a GP in 2000. He is the practice lead for Epilepsy, ADHD, Anticoagulation and Clinical Governance and is studying for an MSc in Occupational Health. He is a GP trainer and also works part-time for Cardiff University as a CPD-Coordinator overseeing GP education and professional development in the Bridgend area.
Special Interests ; Clinical Governance, Medical Education, Sports Medicine/Orthopaedic problems, and Minor (including toenail) surgery.

Dr Jerome Donagh Partner
Dr Donagh MB BS MRCGP qualified in 1988 and joined the practice in 1993. He specialises in COPD and diabetes. He additionally carries out work in these areas at the Princess of Wales Hospital. He enjoys music and exercise. He has recently undergone training to allow him to perform cosmetic enhancement techniques using Botox ® and Dermal Fillers.
His band is good if you like loud rock music. Ask him for his next few Gig dates. |   |
| Dr John Anthony Partner
Dr Anthony MB BS MRCGP MRCP DCH qualified from King's College Hospital in 1978. Joined practice in 1983 and also became a clinical assistant in paediatrics at Bridgend General Hospital. He has continued the post at the Princess of Wales Hospital.
He has represented the practice on various committees and is now a board member of the Bridgend Local Health Board.

| Dr Judith Davies Partner
Dr Judith Davies MB BCH MRCGP MRCP DCH DRCOG DFSHR qualified from UWCM Cardiff in 1985 and joined the practice in 1992.
She currently works part time, is a GP trainer and her interests include child health, women’s health and family planning. She is the Child Protection Lead for the practice |

| Dr Sally Connellan Partner
Dr Connellan MB BCh FPA MRCGP qualified in Leicester in 1988. She joined the practice in 1997.
She specialises in family planning, women’s health and psychiatry. Sally has taken the lead on the HPV vaccination campaign and also Mental Health issues. |  |
| Dr Huw Mason Partner
Dr Mason MB BS MRCS LRCP DRCOG DA MRCGP was born in Llanharry and qualified from Westminster Medical School in 1980. He has worked at this practice since 1987. He is employed by Cardiff University in medical education since 1991. His special interests are in medical education, minor surgery and therapeutics. |  |
| Dr Ian O’Connor Partner
Dr O'Connor BSc MB BS MRCGP DCH joined the practice in 1996. He is the lead GP for diabetes and cardiovascular disease, both within the practice and across the locality. He has outside interests which include sport and golf in particular and with his four boys will soon be taking the world of Five-a-Side by storm. |  |
| Dr Neil Geraghty
Dr Neil Geraghty MBBCh MRCS MRCGP qualified from UWCM Cardiff in 2001. He completed vocational training and became a member of the RCGP in 2007 following 3 years of surgical training. His special interest includes orthopaedics, ENT and minor surgery. He joined the practice in June 2007 and currently does telephone consultations on a Tuesday morning as well as his daily surgeries.

Dr Lloyd MBBch MRCP DRCOG DFFP qualified in 1995 from the University of Wales College of Medicine and did her general practice training in Bridgend for 3 years and completed the scheme in Oldcastle Surgery. She has an interest in obstetrics, gynaecology and family planning. She is currently working at Oak Tree Surgery as a salaried GP on a part-time basis. |  |
Dr Carla Ingram
Dr Carla Ingram MBChB DRCOG MRCGP qualified from Leeds Medical school in 2000. She moved to South Wales in 2005 and joined Oak Tree Surgery in May 2006 as a salaried GP. Her main interest is dermatology but she also performs minor surgery and has an interest in women's health and child health. She has also recently attended training to allow her to carry out cosmetic enhancement procedures. In addition to daily surgeries she does telephone consultation on a Monday morning. |

Our Practice Business Manager is
Mr David Blower BA Hons M.B.A. who joined the practice in August 2005. He heads up the business side of the practice, managing the Nursing, Reception and Admin teams,who through their hard work allow the Doctors to get on with what they do best!
He also enjoys spending time with his family and
