Oak Tree Drs, nurses, staff ,patients and family members swam 25 miles ( yes 25 !)

on Sat 22nd November at Ynsysawdre Pool in aid of YBont and Cancer Research

This unfortunately affects our system and website. Sorry for any inconvenience

Change in Appointments structure

From 8th Dec we are moving the appointments structure slightly.

We are no longer offering the 72hrs in advance slots and replacing it

with appointments 48hrs in advance. We will also no longer offer the

4 weeks in advance options for patient booking. Effectively 45% of our

appointments will now be split between 48hrs and 2 weeks in advance.

This partly due to the WAG directive on patient access and the increase

in DNAs from 4 week appts. We will of course monitor this closely.

This does not affect our same day appointments schedule but should mean

you can see your choice of Doctor quicker.

HPV Vaccine

A reminder to patients who have had 1 or more doses of the vaccine that

the full course is 3 doses. If you have missed your 2nd or 3rd doses

don't worry pop in and see the nursing team or ring us to arrange

an appointment. If you haven't yet had it and you are female aged 14-26 yrs

ring us for an appointment.

The surgery is closed the last Tuesday afternoon of most months

for in-house training for all staff and doctors. Next Closure November 25th

Primecare out of hours service will be available  by ringing the surgery and

selecting the Primecare option or if any problems occur on 0845 6011 186

on this afternoon from 12.00pm.
